School Dayz
Ok, so it’s present day. There’s this school called Hilltop
Middle School, and there is this kid named Marc Barber. He
is made fun of tremendously because he is different from
others. Plus, he is failing school. But, his teacher, Mme
Devonish (he is in French immersion), coaches him so that he
can get the marks he wanted (preferably in math) and for him
to gain new friends. Marc gets suspended for threatening to
kill someone (he didn’t mean it though), he almost gets a
friend, among other atrocities. The way this film will end
is with Marc finding out that is report card features him
with Bs and As, and he gets more friends that he actually
wanted.

-- Script Pitch III Host Commentary --
Lee's Analysis:
This might’ve received a D+ rating had the pitch been
elaborated. But considering it wasn’t, it seems incomplete
in terms of an entire story. It looks like you’re basically
remaking The New Guy for an even younger generation, which
is something I don’t want to see happening. If it does
happen, a straight to video or cable release might be in
gear.
