BOFC Winter 2003 Season Begins With Matrix Revolutions (November 6)
All challenges close the day of the movie's release at
8:59 PM PST / 11:59 EST unless otherwise noted. All release dates are
subject to change and therefore deadlines may change and movies may be added
or removed.
BOFC will have a new prize structure that will spread the
wealth amongst the most dedicated players and predictors. A DVD of
your choice will be awarded to the most accurate predictor of the highest
grossing opener of each month.
Each challenge will still gain you
points regardless if it is the highest grossing movie or not. The
players with the highest points at the end of the season will win prizes.
This season, the top 5 season players will win prizes. The numbers of
prizes will change from season to season based upon the perceived box office
strength of the season's releases.
Timetable
September 2nd - The August winner will be notified (DVD of
your choice). September 30th - The September winner will be notified (DVD of your choice). October 1st - Winter 2003 season challenges open (for early
predictions).
November 4th - The October winner will be notified (DVD of your
choice). November7th - The top 5 season players will be notified (Prize
packages TBA).
All charts and results will have links available on this page and on the
usual view and result pages.
For players with US shipping address, you can pick any DVD up to $30.
For international destinations, any DVD up to $25.
